This issue depicts Aigeste, the eponymous nymph of Segesta, adorned with a necklace and framed by olive branches. The reverse features a hunting dog with protective symbols - a Gorgoneion above (apotropaic device) and a murex shell (source of precious Tyrian purple dye) in front.
